Which hazards does this tool check?

It queries eight official MLIT (国土数値情報 / Reinfolib) hazard layers for the parcel, including: flood inundation (洪水浸水想定区域), tsunami inundation (津波浸水想定), storm-surge inundation (高潮浸水想定区域), landslide warning areas (土砂災害警戒区域), liquefaction tendency (液状化傾向図), landslide-prevention areas (地すべり防止区域), steep-slope hazard areas (急傾斜地崩壊危険区域) and large-scale fill land (大規模盛土造成地).

Does this tool give a hazard score or rating?

No. It reports the official government designations for the point exactly as MLIT publishes them — whether the parcel falls inside each designated zone, and the official category where one exists (for example 特別警戒区域, or the official flood depth-rank such as 浸水深ランク3（3.0〜5.0m未満）). It does not compute any proprietary score, ranking, or weighting; the data is reported unaltered.

What this tool checks

Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) publishes formal hazard mapping for the whole country. This tool queries the parcel against eight of those official layers and tells you, for each one, whether the point falls inside a designated zone — and, where the government assigns a category, that category exactly as published:

Flood inundation (洪水浸水想定区域): the official depth rank, e.g. 浸水深ランク3（3.0〜5.0m未満）.
Tsunami (津波浸水想定) and storm surge (高潮浸水想定区域): the official inundation depth class, e.g. 3m以上5m未満.
Sediment disaster (土砂災害警戒区域): whether it is a 警戒区域 (yellow) or 特別警戒区域 (red), and the phenomenon (土石流 / 急傾斜地の崩壊 / 地すべり).
Liquefaction (液状化傾向図): the official tendency note (e.g. 液状化しやすい) and landform.
Landslide-prevention (地すべり防止区域), steep-slope (急傾斜地崩壊危険区域) and large-scale fill land (大規模盛土造成地): whether the parcel is designated.
